Tina Bagapor named new Executive Director of the Clarendon Alliance

The Clarendon Alliance is excited to announce the appointment of Tina Bagapor as Executive Director.

"Tina brings a wealth of experience in marketing, regional economic development, and event production," said Kieran Daly, President of the Clarendon Alliance Board of Directors. "She joins us during an exciting time for our neighborhood and organization, and we are looking forward to working with a leader of her caliber."

"As a longtime resident of Arlington, I am excited to be able to contribute to the continuing evolution of Clarendon and Courthouse," Bagapor said. "I look forward to continuing to grow and build on the vibrancy of this destination. I am eager to bring my passion and knowledge for community and economic development to our corridor, strengthening relationships throughout Arlington, while creating an innovative, forward-looking sense of place."

Before joining the Clarendon Alliance, Bagapor served as a senior marketing executive with a regional real estate services firm, a national retail franchise organization, and ran a full-service marketing agency focused on regional transportation, economic development, and global tourism. Bagapor has done extensive work with most Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) in the region on everything from tax incentive financing to Main Street development programs. Bagapor comes with a wealth of event management experience, having been instrumental in the marketing, promotion, and advertising for international touring shows, including Disney on Ice and Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus.

As Executive Director, Bagapor will be responsible for articulating Clarendon Alliance's strategic plan, and ensuring that the Clarendon-Courthouse region thrives by working hand-in-glove with our neighborhood civic associations and regional governing bodies. She will also develop and manage signature events like Clarendon Day and the Music by the Metro concerts series, as she also establishes new events and programs that support Clarendon's local businesses and residents. "I am enthusiastic about harnessing the change we have seen in our community to continue to grow and promote the Clarendon – Courthouse corridor as a vibrant, lively community that offers innovative living, working, and entertainment options," Bagapor said.
