My first blog post for the Clarendon Alliance
Welcome to our new website and membership system!
I became Executive Director of the Clarendon Alliance in February of 2019 and it has been an exciting year of growth and change. This is my first blog post from the Alliance and I hope to put out bi-weekly posts, moving forward, on a variety of topics that are relevant to the neighborhood. During these turbulent times, communication and connections seem more important than ever!
When I started with the Alliance last year, one of my key goals was to elevate our website and gain a new and efficient membership software system so that I can communicate more effectively with our residents, businesses, and partners. I am excited that day is finally here and we can unveil a brand new website, with far greater user capabilities and resources. We have all the information you need about the Clarendon Courthouse corridor in one place and we can highlight our local businesses and restaurants in exciting new ways, including easy business directory links and maps. Our members will now have their own member log in and portal where they can update their information, send out news, and submit guest blog posts. Our new database allows for automatic renewals of membership, email blasts with coupons and promotions, newsletters to various constituencies, and so much more. We hope you will take a few minutes to glance through the site and let us know what you think. Like everything we do, we strive for perfection but know there is always room for improvement.
