COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to the current Covid-19 crisis, we are not able to offer our traditional Clarendon Day street festival. Instead, we are hosting "Clarendon Comes Together" with outdoor activities and virtual events to support our neighbors, businesses, nonprofits, and front line workers.
All of September:
We will be selling raffle tickets for amazing prizes, holding a "Where's Bam Bam?" Scavenger hunt, sponsored by Clarendon Animal Care, and hosting a chalk art contest with the theme of "What Do I Love About Clarendon?". 11:00am - 2:00pm Donation Drive for Our Local Nonprofits:
*Bridges to Independence -Linens (Sheets, Towels, etc.)
*Doorways for Women & Children - Cleaning Supplies
*Arlington Free Clinic - Grocery Store/Drug Store Gift Cards and Household Supplies
Aspire! Afterschool Learning - Books & Supplies for Elementary School Kids (Wish List on Amazon)
4:30-6:00pm Raffle Drawing and Virtual Concert with Live Music from Rachel Levitin, The Breakaways, and Dan Barry on Arlington Independent Media: Comcast Channel 69 and Verizon Channel 38, in Arlington, and WERA 96.7 on the Radio
6:00pm - 11:00pm Eat Local Campaign in Clarendon & Courthouse
